Sheherzad Raza Preisler is a filmmaker, writer, and ceramicist from the Upper West Side. She’s half Muslim, half Jewish, born on Christmas Eve, and somehow ended up at a Jesuit high school on the Upper East Side (her school was an inspiration behind the original Gossip Girl). She attended undergrad at Columbia University, where she majored in Middle Eastern, South Asian, and African Studies while following the pre-medical track. After graduation, she entered the world of science journalism and ultimately found herself falling in love with film while working at Ark Media, on the Ken Burns-EP’d docuseries Gene.
In August 2020, Sheherzad matriculated at Brooklyn College’s Feirstein Graduate School of Cinema, where she studied Screenwriting and was awarded an MFA in Cinema Arts in June 2023. While in grad school, Sheherzad began working as a freelance filmmaker, gaining much experience producing, writing, directing, and holding various other on-set positions, including assistant director, assistant camera, and script supervisor. Sheherzad has made two award-winning short films to date, “ZERO” and “Saint Marks”, and has directed and DPed several music videos for independent musicians to date. She is currently seeking funding for her next narrative short, as well as her first feature film.
Sheherzad’s Instagram handle is @yungklonopin and her email address is sheherzad.preisler@feirstein.film. Her Letterboxed is also yungklonopin (gotta keep the brand strong!).

Tony DiMartino
Much like the solitary cross country road trip he embarked on, it was time Tony took the route he always wanted to: taking on the film and media industry.
Coming from an athletic background, Tony was ready for the competition. After receiving multiple degrees, he went on to achieve a goal no one in his family had. He was the first person in his family to receive a Masters Degree, specifically, a Master of Fine Arts in Cinema Arts with a concentration in Producing.
While on this road, he realized how much he loves a theme...but really...he went on to show at the illustrious Jacob Burns Film Center, be part of a team that had a distribution deal for Jet Blue Flights and be at the helm of a project shown at an Academy Award qualifying film festival.
Accomplishing some of these goals while having to isolate at home, Tony’s next and current goal is clear. Taking on a different media field: the audio realm of Podcasts.
