To date, Cool S Films has produced one short film, titled “Saint Marks”. Co-written and co-directed by our founders Katrina and Sheherzad, the short follows besties Keisha, Rani, and Lakynn as they play hooky on Saint Marks place in downtown NYC as they search for the original 4 Loko formula.

Along the way, the girls find their friendship tested when faced with colorism at a tattoo parlor. Will their friendship survive? And will they ever get their hands on the original 4 Loko formula? You’ll have to watch to find out!

We are currently in pre-production for another short film, set to shoot late summer 2024. It’s called “Make Them Proud” and follows a young South Asian navigating her own mental struggles while toying with the idea of setting boundaries with her ailing mother.
